 Teamware partner in France and Latvia, Hermitage Technologies, has announced the availability of OfficeQube, an integrated, all-in-one Internet/intranet server appliance and solution based on Teamware Office.
In addition to integrated email, calendar, forum and document management functions from Teamware Office, OfficeQube provides secure local network to Internet gateway, web server services, firewall, cache, proxy and various other features using SUN Cobalt's Qube3 server appliance.
No systems administrator required
OfficeQube is a server appliance, therefore designed for a "plug-and-use" approach - an ideal setup for SME's and remote offices or subsidiaries of large organizations.
No systems administrator is required to operate OfficeQube, only a more knowledgeable person will be trained to setup the services and manage user accounts.
"All of the services are managed by user-friendly interfaces in the major European languages, allowing server administration without the esoteric commands typical of many operating systems", promises Alain Takahashi from Hermitage Technologies International SARL.
