Teamware Interactive in Stockholm is responsible for sales and support of Teamware solutions in Sweden, Denmark and Norway. A 20 person mix of salespeople and consultants are working out of a centrally located office in Stockholm, actively supporting existing customers and finding new ones.
It started in September 2000 when the existing Teamware Group AB merged with the two web companies Multimediaproducenten and Skapa.
By then it had become essential for Teamware to acquire new knowledge and competence in Sweden, because of the change from Windows-based to web-based concepts in the marketplace and in the Teamware software portfolio.
Both Multimediaproducenten and Skapa had been working and building a customer and knowledge base around new media concepts, but when approached by Teamware, they decided to join forces with the existing Teamware organization. They saw this as a possibility to gain more strength and an easier path to success.
Solid reputation and dependable solution
Almost a year has passed now, and concrete results are to be seen. The new organization has proven that they can sell, design, implement and support solutions that provide customers with new ways of communicating and interacting with their members, employees and others over the Internet.
No one claims it to be easy, but surely it is getting easier everyday.
"It seems that we are gaining a good reputation in the market since more and more people are contacting us, when they are not satisfied with their existing concept or supplier", says Sales Manager Henrik Österberg.
In Sweden the web industry has gone through a great deal of turbulence during the last 12 months, and many of the most well known players have been struggling to survive. In this situation Teamware Interactive is in pole position to increase its marketshare.
"Customers find Teamware Pl@za a safe and dependable solution. They are tired of never-ending web-projects, where they haven't been provided with what they were initially promised", Henrik Österberg states.
More people, more customers
Teamware Interactive in Stockholm is now in the process of doubling the sales force to be able to handle the increasing amount of opportunities that the market brings.
"It is a combination of market demand and the fact that our solution now has a functionality level that seems to be ahead of the competition. This gives us the possibility to increase our sales organization", says Sales Director Stefan Grundström.
"Since most of our sales are aimed at long-term relationships with medium-sized to big companies and organizations we also need to secure our possibility to support our customers and keep them satisfied. So we need more people to be able to take care of both existing and new customers", he continues.
