Teamware Group, leading provider of intranet, extranet and Internet solutions, has named Ari J. Palttala Director of North American Operations to head its corporate expansion in the United States and Canada.

Mr. Rauno Toivonen, President and CEO, said, 'Teamware is committed to the US market and has ambitious growth plans. We chose Ari for his experience in managing business operations and leading successful expansions in the US.'

Mr. Palttala brings over 10 years of senior management experience in US software and systems integration companies in ERP, CRM, Enterprise Content Management, and Knowledge Management industries. As a Washington, DC Metropolitan area resident, he joins the Teamware office in Falls Church, VA.

Prior to joining Teamware, Palttala has held various executive positions such as Managing Director, Vice President, and Director of Business Development, in which he has been responsible for marketing, sales, implementation, and customer services organizations. Palttala received his M.B.A. from Virginia Tech as well as graduate and undergraduate degrees in Engineering from Tampere University of Technology in Finland.
