Teamware Group and Republica Corp., a Finnish company specializing in XML-based data processing, have entered into a co-operation agreement. According to the agreement, Teamware will use Republica's products and solutions in its own customer projects, and Republica will take part in selling and implementing these projects. The co-operation between the two companies has been put into action, as the first joint project has started already. In the future, the co-operation will continue in terms of several joint projects.

"The agreement with Republica gives us the opportunity to provide our customers with the X-Fetch-based multi-channel publishing system in addition to our own Teamware Pl@za and Teamware Office solutions. Thus, our clients are able to use a comprehensive solution including intranet, extranet and Internet platforms, as well as a multi-channel publishing system," said Vice President Markku Rouhiainen from Teamware Group.

"Nowadays, companies are starting to demand XML (eXtensible Markup Language) as the basic language of their documentation. Through the collaboration with Republica, we are able to offer our customers even better XML expertise. XML enables better utilising and distribution of documents within a company, as well as communicating between business partners and their systems."
