Teamware Group today announced an agreement with Widian Oy – a Finnish Symbian application development and systems integration company – that transfers Teamware Mobile™ development to Widian. Teamware Group will continue to resell and support Teamware Mobile and, under the ownership of Fujitsu Ltd., will provide a dedicated focus on the Teamware Office™ groupware market, customer needs and product development demands. Widian will develop the Teamware Mobile product and new mobile solutions business.

The agreement between Teamware Group Oy and Widian Oy transfers the Teamware Mobile technology and development personnel to Widian. Widian previously supplied the Symbian client applications for Teamware Mobile and this agreement strengthens their overall mobile solution offering and integration capabilities.

Teamware Group will continue reselling and supporting Teamware Mobile. Teamware solutions are built on Teamware Office and Teamware Mobile. Teamware, together with partners, also provides technical support and services for its customers. Teamware Mobile has already established itself as a powerful mobile solution in the European market with an estimated customer base of over 300 organizations.
