The Video Software Dealers Association's Website for its members and the home video industry has received a 'Standard of Excellence' WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web site development from the Web Marketing Association. The site is run on Teamware Pl@za®.
The Association's Web site, VSDA LiNk, provides a popular Discussion Board, VideoRetailer.com purchasing tools, industry and association news, business and research reports, event listings, online meeting capabilities, and many other tools and services to assist video retailers, distributors, product manufacturers and others in the home video industry be more efficient and profitable.
'Our public Web site, members-only portal, on-line community services, and e-commerce features are built on the Teamware Pl@za platform', explained Mr. Frank Lucca, Director, Member Support and Website Development at VSDA. 'Using a standardized commercial system allows us to easily manage the variety of user groups and personalize our services to individuals while maintaining a consistent branded look-and-feel of the virtual spaces and effectively publish content in them.'

The Web Marketing Association is the producer of the WebAwards, an annual award competition that is designed to judge corporate Web sites against an Internet standard and against peer sites within their industry (www.webaward.org). The WebAward competition's judges represent the various relevant disciplines and are distinguished experts in their fields. Entries were judged on design, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, ease of use, and use of technology.
