Integrating your Teamware Office with SharePoint Server allows you to provide a collaborative environment that
- makes information seeking faster
- enables more accurate and timely information distribution
- improves the efficiency of completing joint tasks
Teamware Connection for SharePoint includes a Teamware Office page and several WebParts that can be used in any SharePoint page. The Teamware Office page resembles the familiar top page of Teamware Office WebService as seen below.
Figure 1. Teamware Connection for SharePoint main page.
This page consists of several Teamware WebParts such as list of new mail messages, new tasks, and today’s schedule. The Teamware banner seen on the upper part of the page includes a toolbar with icons that open the different services of Teamware Office WebService directly without need for the user to log in separately to Teamware Office.
The unified search is powered by a custom Teamware search protocol handler. With one search users can find information stored in SharePoint, Teamware Office Library and Forum, file servers and even the Internet.

Users can exchange content between Teamware Office and SharePoint. An attachment in a Teamware Mail message or Library document can be stored to SharePoint Document Library. And vice versa, a document stored in SharePoint can be picked as an attachment to a Teamware Mail message or Library document. The picture below shows how a document in SharePoint can be attached to Teamware Office by selecting a command from the content menu.
