Teamware Mobile Services are designed to provide professional consulting, installation, support and training services for Teamware Mobile products. These services help you ensure that the users of mobile services can take full advantage of the powerful features available in the Teamware Mobile solution.
Careful planning is needed to ensure the best fit of the mobile service with your internal IT infrastructure. With Teamware Mobile Services you can make sure that your Teamware solution is properly installed and configured. Your IT staff will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Teamware software to utilize the full features and benefits of Teamware Mobile.

Startup Services
Startup Services enable smooth introduction of Teamware Mobile solution for the customer organisation. They are included in the standard Teamware Mobile offering together with the software.
In the Planning Service the Teamware experts produce together with the customer a detailed description of the system and mobile device configurations and the mobile services to be made available for the customer.
Planning Service includes the following
- Review of the mobile devices to be used in the deployment of the solution
- Specification of the network environment relevant for the installation
- Specification of the operator used by the customer
- Definition of the characteristics of the backbone groupware system
- Specification of the Teamware Mobile server hardware and system platform
The Planning Service will produce the document Installation Plan.
In the Server Installation service the Teamware Mobile server software and hardware are installed in the customer defined premises and connected to the customer's IT infrastructure. The system is configured to allow the users to access the mobile services with their mobile devices.
Service includes
- Installation of the server system
- Checking of the network configuration (configured by the customer)
- Acceptance test to verify that the installed system operates as expected and the customer can accept the delivery
Installation document will record all the work done in the Server Installation.
In the Setup Service the mobile devices are configured to match with the server configuration.
The mobile devices for nominated users are configured and Teamware expert will keep an on-site knowledge transfer workshop and quick advise to the users (half a day).
Maintenance and Support Services
The Maintenance and Support Services ensure that the latest releases of the system software are always available for the customer. Different Support Services are available as needed. The Maintenance Package is included in the Teamware Mobile delivery. Additional Support Services are available in two optional Technical Support Packages, depending on customer's support requirements.
- Services for one nominated contact person
- Access to new software versions and releases as released by Teamware under the Up-to-Date Service
- Access to software fixes and patches
- Access to System support via email or web
- Access to Teamware Mobile on-line documentation
- Access to Solution Database
- Services for two nominated contact persons
- Access to Incident Database
- Technical support via telephone, email and web; dedicated expert work 1 hour/month
- Services for two nominated contact persons
- Access to Incident Database
- Technical support via telephone, email and web; dedicated expert work 4 hours/month
- Two days technical consulting per year
- Named service manager and regular service review meetings with Teamware
Training
Teamware provides training courses for Teamware Mobile system administrators, technical persons doing installations, support personnel and other technical specialists who need extensive technical skills in Teamware Mobile.
