Teamware Group exhibit at Inbox/Outbox 2006
Inbox/Outbox is Europe’s leading email event, designed to address every aspect of using, managing and monitoring email. Teamware Group were there to show how easy Mobile Working can be implemented with Teamware Mobile and how the new Nokia phones with wireless access can provide synchronisation with no data costs. The mobile phone has become the only device we need to carry, having left the laptop in the office or at home. With Teamware Mobile we can process all the new mail that is sent to our account, revisit existing mail that is already held on the mobile phone sending any further replies or start a new conversation by sending a new email. With the new full keyboards available on the Nokia E61 and E70 business phones it is easy to send large emails with full English words instead of relying on text language to send less than 160 characters. Teamware Expert Seminar 2006
Teamware Expert Seminar is an annual technical training event for system administrators and specialists were the new Teamware product features are reviewed in-depth. This year the seminar was arranged in Finland in April and at Easthampstead Park Conference Centre in Wokingham during June. The training sessions went through the new features in Teamware Office 7.1. The new single user’s mailbox restore feature was the star of the show with its ability to restore a whole users mailbox, a complete folder or just a single mail item from backups to a separate restore area on the live server without the need to have a maintenance break. The speed of the new restore functionality is very fast and the removal of setting up an extra recovery server also reduces the recover time. Teamware Office 7.1’s new integration capabilities were also part of the training, showing the new support for document routing within MS Word and how to add external applications to the Teamware Mail menu. The third day was dedicated to a complete course of Teamware XML Toolkit application development. To see the agenda in full go to the Expert Seminar 2006 agenda
