The venue for this year's Teamware Open was set in the grounds of Kurk Manor. The course combines superb golf with scenic environment of light and space typical of the Finnish countryside.

Our long-time customers, partners and keen golfers, 40 altogether, enjoyed the mature course with 18 full-length holes in a relaxed atmosphere. The Club House with sauna and buffet catered to the more physical needs of the pitchers and putters after a hot day in the sun just before the thunder storm hit the scene.

There were a few contests held during the day: Pasi Kilpivaara won the competition for the longest drive and Tenho Paija mastered the closest to the pin event. Both represented the Finnish Police.

The women's series champion for the second year in a row was Elise Helenius from Fujitsu Invia. The trophy went to Mika Linna of Renatus until challenged at Teamware Open 2003. Keep swinging!
