Teamware Pl@za 3.5 and related components add significantly to Pl@za's integration capabilities. It is now possible to integrate with 3rd party servlet engines and enable security improvements on Windows 2000 with IIS. Integration and synchronization with external user databases is easier. Data can be synchronized at regular intervals automatically, which helps in guaranteeing that user data is up-to-date.
The launch of Teamware Pl@za 3.5 introduced an improved group management capability. There are tools for managing group specific resources such as discussion groups and document folders, criteria for restricting group and role position membership, and functionality to copy and move users from groups and positions to others.
