T is good for you

Teamware invited a number of association representatives to attend the T seminar (or in Dutch: Thee seminar) in London and Amsterdam and promised to shed light on the following questions:

How would you like to improve the service you provide to your members while dramatically reducing the time and money you currently spend? Because for members, it takes a lot more than a membership pack, newsletter and occasional seminar to create a community spirit. After all, who really knows them? Who really cares?

The keynote speaker for the seminar was Sherry Keramidas, the chief staff executive of the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS), an international professional membership society representing individuals involved with the development and regulation of health products. RAPS is headquartered near Washington DC but has more than 9000 members in 43 countries.

Dr. Keramidas provided an interesting presentation about key trends, challenges and the future of associations with the main idea: It's all about member services.

Teamware presented its view on how to provide top quality service to association members. There were examples on how to maintain world class eCommunities while managing costs and yet increasing the reach of the association. The focus should be on efficient communication, efficient delivery of member services and efficient association management.

The presentations are available in PowerPoint format in Teamware web
