Teamware Office 6.1 Ed 2 contains a number of new features and fixes for Teamware Office 6.1. The new functionality in the release include server, client and WebService features. On the server side, the new Remote Alarmer enables distribution of notifications in NAT environments. The Mail client includes an improved certificate info window and support for XP restricted users to set Offline mailbox location and spellchecker use. Introduced in the WebService are a yearly calendar view, changing mailbox permissions, showing private mail folders with special icon and sorting personal todo items based on priority. This module release for Solaris and Windows platforms will be available early November.

Teamware Office for Linux 6.1 Ed 1a supports upgrades from Teamware Office for Linux 6.0 Ed 2 on RedHat 3.0 & 3.1 and Fedora 2. This release offers support for LDAP API enabling use of external LDAP directories. Other new features include WebService enhancements e.g. copied mail, setting of auto-forward, Teamware toolbar for IE, download messages, and a Java-based Offline Calendar viewer.
