Teamware Office Portlet Integration

Teamware Office is easy to integrate. It is based on open industry standards and incorporates the idea of giving customers the opportunity to build a software system that can meet their special needs - matching their existing system environment or changing application requirements. Teamware Office Portlets offer an easy way to create intranet integration between Teamware Office and a JSR168 compliant portal systems.

Nine ready-made portlets cover the most common use cases including

  • listing new, unread mail messages
  • lists of the content of a selected forum or library
  • personal, group or resource calendar views
  • personal memo

The portlets look and behave like related, familiar WebService views and, in fact, use WebService functionality.

The portlets can be deployed as they are. However, it is also possible to tailor them according to customer specific requirements. Each portlet also offer user specific preferences to tailor the portlets to match individual or role-based needs.
