New Teamware Customers in Japan
 

Teamware Office is gaining new customers in Japan as well. We introduce three Fujitsu customers in private and public sector with more than ten thousand users who started using Teamware Office in 2006.

Private sector – insurance

This large insurance company is using Teamware Calendar, Library and Forum via web browsers. The number of users is 20000 and the Teamware Office and WebService are hosted by 4 Solaris servers (1x Directory, 1x Forum, 1x Library and 1x Calendar). The solution is integrated with the email system used (Syncdot/WebMailer developed by Fujitsu Nagano Systems).

The company is a longtime customer of Fujitsu with good experience of Fujitsu products, service and support. The customer appreciates the Teamware Office WebService integration capabilities with their main system and also requires the customization in large scale with other business systems.

Public sector organization

The 10000 users in this geographically decentralized public sector organization are using Teamware Office via web browsers. Interstage Portalworks is integrated with Teamware Office WebService. The single site Teamware Office system and the WebService are hosted by 8 Solaris servers (1x Directory, 4x Mail, 1x Forum, 1x Library and 1x Calendar).

This customer moved from the earlies Lotus Notes system to Teamware Office in 2006. Fujitsu's proposal for the new office business solution and system re-construction was closely evaluated. The key factor for winning the bid was that Fujitsu could meet the tight time schedule for building up the whole system.

Private sector – accounting

This customer company and its 19000 employees are using Teamware Mail, and the server backbone is based on 4 Windows Servers.

The key factor for selecting Teamware Office was the confidence in Fujitsu products, service and support. The customer is also happy to have flexible customization possibilities and integration for the system.
